Challenge
As one of the largest fintech in Brazil – with more than 16 million unique customers, including the 9 million who have a digital account – the case that we are going to talk about today relied on Datum’s services to deliver a product that calculates the impact of salespeople’s commissions.
The company that is known for being one of the biggest retailers, offers sellers a 100% free PJ digital account. Through it, it is possible to make Pix, unlimited TEDs, payment of slips and deposits of receivables.
Considering that there are more than 140 thousand sellers registered on the company’s digital platform, a product that performs the calculation of commission functionally and dynamically is essential.
The product in question has a continuous life cycle, therefore, Datum continues to participate in its maintenance and guarantees its full operation.

Next steps
The project was developed a few years ago and is currently facing challenges in which Datum is actively involved. Among the challenges encountered in operating the product, the following are the main ones:
- Update the product version according to the roadmap of improvements to be implemented;
- Ensuring the performance of the current product in the update/migration period, as it impacts the entire commissioning of the marketplace.
