Challenge
With digital transformation revolutionizing organizations, different segments needed to adapt to the countless changes in the current scenario. Many sectors are still going through this moment, and with retail it wouldn’t be any different.
The success case we will talk about is still in the beginning of its implementation.
The brand, which is a leader in the fashion sector throughout Brazil, called on Datum with the mission to unify and modernize its e-commerce platform.
Project developed
The project, which began in April 2022, hopes to create an ecosystem of components, with a decoupled architecture that serves all of the retailer’s communication channels.
The first phase of this journey is based on designing a Software as a Service (SaaS) layer of APIs that will crowd out external partners. The second phase of the project involves migrating the e-commerces to the SaaS layer built and, finally, evolving the platform until it becomes independent from partners.
Technologies used
With a team composed of squads from different areas (Java, QA, React, Agilist, Nodejs, UX), over the next 5 years, it is expected that the technology will gather all the users’ information without depending on external vendors – such as Oracle, Linx, ATG, etc.
Combining Datum’s expertise in developing IT solutions with agility, innovation and excellence and the client’s extensive market experience, Datum’s work will focus on achieving business goals, transforming the experience of customers and employees, and increasingly expanding its technologies.
